Treating dandruff with anti-dandruff shampoos can be effective, but they often come with unwanted side effects due to aggressive chemical compounds. Fortunately, home remedies provide a safer alternative to eliminate dandruff without compromising your health. The following natural remedies not only effectively remove dandruff but also promote healthier hair and scalp.

Olive Oil:

Create a mixture by combining two tablespoons of olive oil with a tablespoon of almond oil. Gently massage the mixture onto your scalp and leave it on for 15 minutes before thoroughly rinsing it off.

Another option is to mix one tablespoon of olive oil with 10 drops of rosemary oil. Apply this blend to your scalp, ideally leaving it overnight and washing it off the next morning.

Apple Cider Vinegar:

Mix equal parts of water and apple cider vinegar and apply the mixture to your hair. Leave it on overnight and rinse your hair with a mild shampoo the following day.

If you have sensitive skin, dilute apple cider vinegar with warm water in a 1:4 ratio. After washing your hair, rinse it with this mixture. You may experience a slight burning sensation, but it is normal. Gently massage your scalp before rinsing again with warm water to reduce the strong smell.

Aloe Vera:

Aloe vera is an excellent natural treatment for dandruff. Apply some aloe vera juice to your scalp 2-3 hours before washing your hair, and massage it gently. This method not only eliminates dandruff but also strengthens your hair roots.

Chamomile Tea:

Chamomile possesses soothing properties for sensitive and inflamed skin. Prepare fresh chamomile tea and, once cooled, apply it to your scalp. Massage gently and it is recommended not to rinse your hair afterwards.

Alternatively, you can use thyme as a substitute for chamomile in this remedy.
