Good News for all Twitter Users: Only a couple of hours ago, it seems that the twitter worm called twittercut came to an end and finally shut down.

According to serveral sources, this worm was spreading at a very rapid and fast rate and Twitter team had to reset alot of user accounts passwords to prevent further damage.

For some of you know who may didn’t hear about it, it started last night as a phishing scam asking twitter users to enter their account usernames and passwords promising them to increase their profile followers count while posting to each user’s profile a new status message to bring even more victims.

it’s adviced that you don’t give your login credentials to any third-party websites unless you fully trust no matter the temptation is.
